Reverse Confetti/ December Stock Your Stash

December is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Thank You. Seems like the perfect fit for all the thanks we should send off after the holidays. I'm glad to bulk up my stash.

I finally used the sweet little kitty from the Furever Friends stamp set. It's so cute and I colored up the bow and mouse from the set. I used the coordinating Furever Friends Confetti cuts to cut out each element.

In the  background I sponged on some Distress oxide inks with the Hearts Stencil with my favorite Life Changing Blender Brushes. I added the die cut word from the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts. I cut out three of them and blended in the same colors I used in the background. I scattered some clear sequins to complete the card.

here are the challenge details. We hope you'll play.

There will be a new Stock Your Stash challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th of the month. Click the "Play Along..." button on our sidebar to go current link list post.

Cookies, It's Hard to Be Sad/ Picket Fence Studios

It's cookie season. Have you or do you bake cookies for the holidays?? I do, but just a little and I do not go over the top. I bake up some sugar cookies and put some frosting on them. I don't make my own dough...no time for that. My family is happy I even make cookies and put frosting on them. The boys help decorate....we just do sprinkles and colored frosting. Easy peasy and fun.
I adore this new set, just released from Picket Fence Studios. It released last week and I love the concept that you can create cookies or donuts with the set....we love donuts, too. So that will have to be my next card.  Have you seen it? It's called Cookie or Donut? And there are matching Dies

I did some masking with the cookies images and used a variety of Reverse Confetti inks (see links below). I used the Life Changing Blending brushes to add in the Distress Oxide inks to the bottom of the panel and then finished it off with some splatters in the same inks. A scattering of sequins gave it a touch of glam and a strip of pattern paper along the right edge.

It's a busy time as we approach the Christmas holiday.....find some time for yourself. I hope you get crafty. Thanks for stopping by here today.

All you have to do is leave comments along your way  today and every day, as you hop.  We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog.

Yep. More buffalo plaid in the classic red and black. I'm in love! This time though, I added texture by using the new Buffalo Plaid Cover Up die. I cut it from Salsa card stock and layered it over Midnight card stock. it's such a great look. I even added a little pinking edge detail with the Stitched Mini Chevron Border.

The new Comfy Cocoa set is a must have! OH my, it is so fun to play with. I used the images to create a sweet little deer face to the front of the mug, Coffee Talk 2 die  (previously released coffee set). Check out the rest of the designs team, there is a great mix of how the different faces were used. I love it all!

I finished the cocoa mug off with the coordinating Comfy Cocoa die set ( remember the MUG is NOT part of this accessory kit, so if you don't have it yet, you'll want to pop that in your cart, too. you can shop it HERE!)

The sentiment was stamped at the top of my card in black ink. You can also see the marshmallow details and the sweet candy cane stick a little closer.

Here is the blog list for today!
Don't miss the awesomeness from the design team.
Thanks so much for your sweet words this week!

December Release/Lil' Inker Designs Day 2

Hello! It's Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release. If you missed all the excitement from yesterday, you can check it out. This release is fabulous and I'm warning you now.....I cannot get enough of the buffalo plaid.  I am seriously obsessed.

Oh, wait....before I jump in to today's card, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. It's soooo good, trust me.

I stamped up a stack of different Buffalo Plaid backgrounds (do this when you get the stamp, it will save you time in the future, especially if you are using black ink. Did you see Amy Kolling's post?? She has a rainbow of plaid ready to go. It's so awesome) and decided to see what it looked like with a die cut word. Yep. I love it! The Hugs Word die is awesome and it pairs naturally with all the sentiment from the Cozy Plaid stamp set.

I used a few other favorite LID products, too. I added the Stitched Woodgrain to some Polar White card stock and then cut it out with the Stitched Mats-Circle die. I wanted a touch more of texture to the card, so I used the sketchy lines from the Cozy Plaid stamp set to my background in a Stone grey ink. I the black enamel hearts were easy to add and would you have any idea they were actually red to begin with?? I didn't like them on my project as red hearts, so I colored them up with my black copic marker and made them the perfect fit for my project.

Picket Fence Studios December Release

Hello Hello! Busy day on the blog today. Two companies, two releases....so much good stuff. If you are looking for the Lil' Inker Designs Release post, please scroll down. Right now, I've got some goodies for the Picket Fence Studios December Release. I'm pretty excited about it. You can find all the New Release stamps and dies HERE

First up is one of my favorites! It's a new Sunshine Friend stamp called A Cheerful Day. These were the first PFS stamps I fell in love with. Sooooo cute and adorable.

If you look close, I used the sentiment and stamped it in Mist ink onto Mist cardstock for a subtle background. I used my Copic markers to color up the sweet image and then used the matching Die to cut her out. Yay for dies!!!

Here is a closer look at the sweet image. I stamped the sentiment onto a banner die.

I got to do some water coloring on this next card and I am loving how it turned out. I am no pro, but I used my Zig Clean Color Brush markers and got some great results, quick and easy. I used the new Forgot To Say Thank-you set and went a little "out of the box" by just stamping the floral image. Even though I adore the jar of flowers, I also love being able to give more mileage to my stamps.....more bang for the buck.  I even added some grey shadows around the images and finished it off with some splatters.

I masked off the strip in the center for a perfect nesting place for my sentiment. I love this technique.  It's easy (see a theme here....quick and easy), I simply used a piece of blue painters tape across the watercolor paper panel to mask off the area.

I stamped the sentiment with my Misti and the PFS Hybrid Intense Black ink. I love the Misti because it allows me to stamp the greeting multiple times to get a great impression on the textured water color paper.

There is a lot more releasing today, so be sure to check out what the rest of the team has created. You'll find all the details on the Picket Fence Studios Blog.
Happy Shopping. I can't wait to see what you all order.

Lil' Inker Designs December Release

Hello and welcome! It's the December release with Lil' Inker Designs and we are getting cozy. I am in love with all the products available TODAY! This release is fabulous and I'm warning you now.....I cannot get enough of the buffalo plaid.  I am seriously obsessed.

Oh, wait....before I dive in, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. It's soooo good, trust me.

So let's jump right in with my plaid mitten done up in green. I stamped the awesome Cozy Plaid stamp set in Avocado ink onto Avocado card stock. I love the tone-on-tone look. I then cut the mitten from the Mitten Shaker Die Set. I then colored up the sweet little penguins from the Good Cheer stamp set. I also used the snowflakes from the same set to stamp a subtle background for my mitten.

I stamped the sentiment from Good Cheer in midnight ink and used the Good Cheer Dies to cut out the penguin and pile of snowballs. The finishing touches were the twine bow and some tinsel glitter on the snowball. I cut the whole main panel with the Silly Stitched Square

I am still on my rainbow kick. I love the look and when doesn't a rainbow anything make someone smile?? I did some ink smooshing for my background and then added the splattering in some of the same distress ink colors I used. I colored up the Good Cheer penguins in rainbow colors with my Copic markers and then cut them out with the Good Cheer dies

I layered up the awesome new Hugs Word die. I love that it has the solid background bubble layer to outline the word. I kept it simple here with a classic b&w color combo. The "sending" sentiment is from the Cozy Plaid stamp set.

Need the perfect gift for your crafty friend or family member.....LID Gift Certificates are always the perfect size.

Color Throwdown 523-Sparkling Holiday

Hello, everyone!   Broni is the hostess for the final Color Throwdown challenge of 2018.  I can hardly believe that the year is almost over! Thank-you for playing along with us each week.

For our challenge I chose a classic Christmas color palette of Red, Green, Kraft, and White.

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD523, and please use #ctd523 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the rules are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you're unsure.  And no digital designs will be allowed - only digital images that are printed off and colored.

I went classic on my card today, by inking up three of the Triangle Trees in three different Reverse Confetti inks-Pistachio, Grass, and Olive. I used the Triangle Trees Confetti Cuts to cut them out and then added them to the top of a Premium Polar White Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts

I added a sparkly Wonky Double Edge Scallop Border hill top to the bottom of the tag and added my red for the challenge colors with some red twine. I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the Sand panel in Midnight ink.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
